Grainger Supports Young Farmers

Grainger

November 3, 2014 – To benefit the Young Farmer program of the New Hampshire Farm Bureau Federation, Grainger supplied $250 worth of products. Items included a cordless cutoff tool, an aluminum straight pipe wrench and a fire extinguisher, which were auctioned off at the growers’ dinner at the Inn at East Hill Farm in Troy last night.

Grainger’s support is greatly appreciated. “We are grateful for this generous donation from Grainger,” said Young Farmer Vice Chair Amy Gowell Drogue. “The items were highly sought after and were a great addition to our silent auction.”

Funds raised from the event benefit the New Hampshire Farm Bureau Young Farmers. The program provides leadership training opportunities geared to developing our state’s future agricultural leaders. Members between the ages of 16 and 35 with an interest in agriculture are encouraged to attend leadership conferences and participate in other special activities throughout the year.
