New Hampshire Cannabis Association Farmer Survey

The NH Cannabis Association has requested Farm Bureau promote a survey (link provided below) of NH farmers that they are conducting. Farm Bureau has not taken a position on cannabis legislation before the NH Legislature, but urges members, weather in support or in opposition, to fill out the survey. It is primarily a yes or no, 12 question survey. The following is from the Cannabis Association:

“The New Hampshire Cannabis Association (NHCANN) is conducting a survey of NH farmers and gardeners to determine the level of interest in becoming licensed cannabis growers, should adult-use cannabis be fully legalized in NH. The survey can be found at: https://nhcann.org/nh-farmers-survey-2023/ The survey will be open thru the end of September. The results will be compiled and presented to the newly formed NH Cannabis Commission, which is charged with developing draft legislation to be considered in 2024.”

“If you are a New Hampshire resident in the agriculture industry, we want to hear from you. Please take NHCANN’s Farmer Survey!” said Timothy Egan, Chair of the NHCANN Board of Advisors.

Farm and agriculture professionals are being surveyed to determine the level of support for and interest in cannabis legalization and cultivation among agricultural producers in the Granite State. Are you interested in expanding opportunities for farmers in NH, and possibly becoming a licensed grower? Would you like to voice your concerns about policy and/or public safety? The answers will help inform the new Cannabis Commission and help shape future legislation. NHCANN is conducting the Farmer Survey, and is asking the New Hampshire Farm Bureau, NOFA-NH and other farm groups to distribute it their members.
